Magic Moments

So followers of my Olympic witterings will know that there's always a highlights reel at the end of the Games. I thought this should be no different! Best Meal :  It's hard to beat avocado on toast with perfectly poached eggs! Though the aubergine lasagne & the variations of prawn stir fry close out the podium. Most surprising Culinary Discovery:  I think it's   got to be cauliflower mash! Boil up your cauli with garlic cloves, drain.& whizz with salt, pepper & butter. What's not to love? MMMmmm butter.... Mathias Steiner Award for the Dustiest moment(s):  So many! Whenever the first number on the weigh in changed. Which would be twice! Meeting up with people & seeing their amazement & delight at the transformation from fat knacker to the svelte Adonis before their eyes! Seeing the comparison photos - though often through tears of rage! I've become (even) more sensitive to music! Getting my mojo back! FBS Theme Not that I was a huge chocolate fan...

Six Months!

Well folks, I said at the start of this #Transform360 programme that I'd give it my best shot for 6 months. It wasn't an idle boast, especially as we all know that I've historically been absolutely rubbish at self-control when it comes to food...good luck getting to the crisps, chips, snacks, biscuits if the plate landed near me. But I said I'd give it 6 months, and to be perfectly honest I had no idea whether I would be successful. I was terrified by the target of 20kg. It seemed like science fiction, there was no way I'd get anywhere near etc etc - but I said I'd give it 6 months.  Looking back this morning I realised it had been 6 months and 1 week, and there's still another 4 weeks to go on the current food plan before the final appointment with Vanusa, and the start of the rest of my now healthier life!
